Role and tasks

Each member university has an FVU liaison or liaisons to ensure communication and collaboration at the national level.

The university liaisons ensure:

  • active transfer of information and experiences to the FVU Service Unit and to the Ministry of Education.
  • communication on projects conducted at the universities and in the FVU, locally in their own university and nationally, making use of network services and the FVU portal.
  • participation in the work of expert and reference groups dealing with and evaluating FVU development initiatives.
  • assisting the consortium representatives in processing the assessment and implementation requests issued by the Consortium Assembly to the universities, and in presenting the relevant documents.
  • providing support for the co-ordinators and project staff of network projects when planning, implementing and reporting on virtual projects.
  • promoting the implementation of the FVU operating plan in their own universities and reporting on the outcomes of the work.
  • serving as university contact persons for training events supporting the use of FVU services.
